Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. (Physics / Engineering Physics/ Quantum Technology / Related fields) or B.E. / B.Tech (Engineering Physics / Electronics / Related fields) with a
minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent.
OR
M. Tech / M. Phil or equivalent degree with a thesis work will be given preference. Candidates appeared for the final examination are also eligible to
apply. If selected, they must submit the provisional degree certificate at the time of joining.
Desirable Qualifications:
The candidate should be motivated and should have a flair for experimental work. The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following
• Lasers and control electronics
• Optics designing / alignments
• Electronics purchase, handling,soldering, assembling, designing and related experience
• Control of instruments using LabVIEW.
• Radio-Frequency (RF) and Microwave signal processing
Preference will be given to the candidates who have previously worked with relevant research area and has hands on experience
Remuneration:
A consolidated remuneration of Rs. 31,000/- plus admissible HRA per month will be paid to the selected candidates
Upper Age Limit:
The upper limit is 25 years as on the last date for closing of applications. The last date for receipt of applications is 26th May 2026. Applications received after the last date will not be considered
Role:
To be a team member working with designing, assembling and calibration of components and devices needed for quantum technology development using cold atoms and laser light.
Nature of the Work:
The work involves usage of various types optical components, laser sources, power supplies, Radio Frequency and microwave-components, etc in the laboratory. The candidate is also expected to work with a team of scientists and PhD scholars and hence being able to be part of a team and contributing in the scientific and technical developments is one of the critical aspects of the job.

limit, on the basis of relevant qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the
advertisement.

(iv) The institute reserves the right to relax any of the above requirements in exceptional cases.
(v) The Institute reserves the right, not to fill the post herein advertised.
